Caps

KLCC prides itself on all its teams looking neat, tidy and professional on the field. This is why all junior receive, included in their registration, is a new club cap at the start of each season. It is a Parramatta District Cricket Association's policy that non-Club type baseball caps are not permitted on the field. All players in a game must wear a Club cricket cap or a broad rim hat. KLCC canvas broad rim hats are available at the canteen.

Codes of Behaviour

As a general policy, KLCC follows the Codes of Behaviour developed Cricket Australia. Each Coach has been supplied with a copy and the Coach will be happy to supply a copy on request.

In addition, the Parramatta District Cricket Association's Code of Behaviour is located in the fixture book. Coaches are required to ensure that players, parents and officials in each team are aware of their responsibilities under this Code, and abide by this Code. Note that PDCA does not take sides in disputes between teams or with Umpires and will deal rigorously with players appearing before them. The best advice is to accept the Umpire's decision and get on with the game.

Cricket Kit

KLCC provides each team with a comprehensive kit of equipment so that each player may enjoy the game without incurring any substantial cost. It is a matter of personal preference for players to purchase their own equipment. Players are required to have their own personal protector, also known as a “Hector” or “Box”. These protectors are available from the canteen.  For any inquiries regarding equipment, please contact the Club's Equipment Manager.

Footwear

All players are required to wear correct footwear whilst playing.  Shoes must be predominantly white. Please note that spikes are not permitted on synthetic pitches.

It is a KLCC policy that all Junior players must wear a helmet when batting and wicket keeping. Where it is not compulsory in Seniors it is encouraged to wear helmets.

The Parramatta District Cricket Association covers many local government boundaries.

Working with Kids Check

Current legislation requires KLCC to submit the names of all people working with children so a check can be performed. The Club is obliged to ask volunteer workers to sign a form declaring whether or not that person is a 'prohibited' person under the relevant legislation. It is KLCC policy to ask the General and Executive Committee, all Coaches and Managers, and any other person deemed necessary, to complete such a form and pass it to the Club Secretary.  All such information is treated confidentially.
